David Hodges is a Senior Account Executive at PoliticsDirect.

Before joining PoliticsDirect, David worked in the House of Commons for Alan Keen MP as a researcher. In his time in Parliament he worked on a wide range of policy sectors including Culture, Media and Sport, Treasury, Transport, and Energy and Climate Change. Moreover, during this period David was the researcher and co-wrote the All Party Parliamentary Football Group report into ‘Football and its Governance’.

Prior to entering politics, David studied History & Politics at the University of Leicester before completing a Masters in Public Affairs and Lobbying at Brunel University. For his Master’s Thesis he analysed the impact a Cameron Government will have for UK lobbying, with particular focus on the telecommunication and energy sectors. Outside of work, David is heavily involved in local politics and is currently the Youth Chair for the Streatham Constituency Labour Party.
