John specialises in media relations and provides an
authoritative and discreet media management service to corporate
and private clients world-wide. He is the Managing Director of
Stonborough Media Group, comprising John Stonborough and Co
(est. 1988) and Air Supremacy Ltd, a media training company. He
has an extensive and international client list which include
Absolut Vodka, Asda Wal-Mart, the UK Gambling Commission and the
world’s largest re-insurer Swiss Re. John also broadcasts and
lectures on handling the hostile media and media regulation.
Until 2004 John was Media Adviser to the Speaker and House of Commons Commission (UK Parliament). His career began as a reporter for the Daily Mail and he went on to report for BBC Radio 4, Thames Television and Channel 4 TV. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
